The output is composited onto a plain white background at the preset's exact pixel size for 300 DPI printing; check "Also generate a 4x6in print sheet" to also download a tiled sheet with as many copies as fit on one page.
Step 3 - get the result
Everything runs locally via the Canvas API - the photo is never uploaded to a server.
This crops and resizes to the right dimensions on a white background - it does not remove or replace an existing background, auto-detect or center the face, or verify compliance with a specific passport office's full requirements (lighting, expression, head coverings); check your destination's official rules before submitting.
