Kapan cocok
Gunakan sebelum menempelkan teks yang diketik pengguna atau tidak dipercaya ke dalam HTML mentah, agar karakter seperti &, <, dan > tampil sebagai teks biasa, bukan merusak markup. Alat ini juga berfungsi sebaliknya: tempelkan potongan HTML yang sudah berisi entity dan uraikan kembali menjadi teks biasa yang mudah dibaca.
Kapan tidak cocok
Alat ini hanya meng-escape lima karakter - tidak menghapus tag atau script. Jika tujuannya menghapus markup berbahaya daripada menampilkannya sebagai teks, gunakan alat sanitasi HTML khusus.
