Comprimir ZIP
"Comprimir ZIP" es el flujo de tomar una carpeta de archivos y escribir un unico archivo .zip que los contiene. El archivo resultante es mas pequeno que la suma de los archivos de entrada solo cuando esos archivos son comprimibles (texto plano, codigo fuente, imagenes no comprimidas); formatos ya-comprimidos como JPG, MP4 o MP3 usualmente crecen unos pocos por ciento debido al overhead de empaquetado ZIP.
Si estas tratando de hacer un ZIP mas pequeno, separa archivos "comprimibles" de los "ya comprimidos". Los archivos con mucho texto (logs, CSV, JSON, codigo fuente) a menudo se reducen mucho; las fotos JPG, videos MP4, audio MP3 y muchos PDFs usualmente no, y pueden incluso quedar ligeramente mas grandes envueltos en un ZIP. Para una victoria real de tamano, agrupa los archivos comprimibles y maneja los medios por separado antes de archivarlos.
