Live Tornado & Storm Tracker hoạt động theo ba bước: chọn khu vực của bạn, chạy kiểm tra, rồi đọc kết quả. Trang này giải thích mỗi bước cần gì.
Bước 1 - chọn khu vực của bạn
Truy cập Live Tornado & Storm Tracker và chọn một tiểu bang của Mỹ từ danh sách, hoặc nhấn "Use my location" để trình duyệt xác định khu vực của bạn (việc này sẽ hỏi quyền truy cập vị trí).
Bước 2 - chạy kiểm tra
Nhấn Check alerts. Trang tải dữ liệu trực tiếp từ NWS ngay trong trình duyệt của bạn - không tải lên, không cần tài khoản, không cần cài đặt.
Bước 3 - đọc kết quả
Các cảnh báo đang hoạt động được sắp xếp từ nghiêm trọng nhất trở xuống, mỗi cảnh báo hiển thị tên sự kiện, khu vực bị ảnh hưởng, thời gian đếm ngược đến khi hết hạn, và nguyên văn hướng dẫn chính thức. Nếu khu vực đó không có cảnh báo nào đang hoạt động, trang sẽ hiển thị một thông báo an toàn rõ ràng kèm mốc thời gian "kiểm tra lần cuối", thay vì một khung trống.
