List your candidates one per line, press Spin, and the wheel stops on whichever name gets picked.
Need a numeric roll instead of a name spin? See the dice roller.
Random Name Picker
Type in a list of candidates and let this page draw one winner at random - no coin, no dice, no app.
Key features
- The wheel loads pre-filled with six example entries, so you can spin right away or replace them with your own.
- Add one name or option per line; each spin animates the wheel and names the winner under the top pointer.
- Edit the list and spin again any time; entries are not saved between visits.
Common uses
Use it for raffles, deciding who goes first, or picking a random winner from a list.
Privacy
The spin result uses crypto.getRandomValues for fairness and runs locally - no upload and no account.
For the setup steps and screenshots, see the companion walkthrough Random Name Picker - step by step.
Already have the Wheel Spinner open? It is the same spin-a-wheel-of-names mechanic as this page, with a longer walkthrough of the equal-size slicing plus a countdown timer and stopwatch listed as companions - either page gets you the same random pick.
