How to View Titanoboa in 3D


Titanoboa 3D Viewer runs a Paleocene giant boid snake - not a dinosaur - length about 12.8 m mean (up to 14.3 m), mass about 1135 kg. Drag, zoom, toggle a 1.8 m person, and click a body region.


Open the Titanoboa page and take the camera

Open the Titanoboa 3D Viewer and wait for the facts panel to fill. When the status line says you can drag, orbit Titanoboa with the pointer and zoom with the scroll wheel or a two-finger pinch. Fullscreen expands the wrapper so the controls stay visible beside the scene. After first paint a license-clean CC-BY-SA 4.0 glTF may swap in automatically from the CDN; if that load fails the page stays on the procedural aquatic silhouette with zero regression.

The Titanoboa facts panel lists length about 12.8 m mean (up to about 14.3 m; Head et al. 2009), mid-body height about 0.7-1.0 m (panel 0.8 m), mass about 1135 kg mean (about 730-1819 kg range; Head et al. 2009), the Paleocene window about 60-58 million years ago in the Cerrejon Formation of Colombia, carnivore diet (aquatic predator; anaconda-like ecology often inferred), and naming from Head et al. 2009 (type species T. cerrejonensis). A short click - not a drag - on a body region surfaces a short fossil fact. Soft-tissue color is an artistic reconstruction. When the CC-BY-SA 4.0 glTF by seth the yutyrannus via Printables loads, the status text notes a real model with that credit - a stylized reconstruction, not a laser scan. This model is not a fossil-accurate skeleton. Titanoboa was a giant boid snake, not a dinosaur - it lived after non-avian dinosaurs went extinct.
