Online Metronome Step By Step

Open Online Metronome, set the tempo, choose beats per bar, then click Start click for audible ticks.


Steps

  1. Drag the BPM slider (40-240) or use Tap tempo a few times to match a pulse you hear.
  2. Pick beats per bar so the downbeat accent matches your meter.
  3. Watch the visual beat lamp - it pulses on load so you can confirm tempo before enabling sound.
  4. Click Start click for audible ticks; click Stop to silence audio while the visual beat continues.

What stays private

Timing and audio run in the browser. Nothing is uploaded and the microphone is not used.
