Live Tornado & Storm Tracker checks active National Weather Service alerts in three steps: pick your area, run the check, then read the result. This page walks through what each step expects.
Step 1 - pick your area
Go to Live Tornado & Storm Tracker and choose a US state from the dropdown, or press "Use my location" to let the browser look up your area (this asks for location permission).
Step 2 - run the check
Press Check alerts. The page loads live NWS data directly in your browser - no upload, no account, no install.
Step 3 - read the result
Active alerts are sorted most severe first, each showing the event, the affected area, an expiry countdown, and the official instruction text verbatim. If nothing is active for that area, the page shows a clear all-clear message with a "Last checked" timestamp instead of a blank panel.
