Open the 2026 Total Solar Eclipse Path 3D Explorer, then drag the progress slider along the real August 12, 2026 path or use the two quick-jump buttons to read the published local totality times for Reykjavik and Leon.

Drag the #t3dEpProgress slider from 0% to 100% to move the black shadow dot and gold ring along the yellow path line connecting the eight real waypoints from Siberia through Greenland, Iceland, the North Atlantic, and Spain.


Play the auto-sweep once

Press the #t3dEpPlayBtn Play/Pause button to auto-sweep the shadow along the whole path at 5% per real second; the sweep stops at 100% instead of looping, because an eclipse is a one-way, one-time event, not a cycle you replay.


Jump straight to Reykjavik or Leon

Use the two quick-jump buttons to snap the slider directly to Iceland or Spain, then read the facts panel's published local totality window: about 5:48 to 5:49 p.m. in Reykjavik, and about 8:28 to 8:30 p.m. in Leon.


Read the facts panel at each waypoint

Read the facts panel as you drag: it updates to name the nearest of the eight real waypoints and shows that waypoint's own published note, including the under-two-minutes totality typical for most of the path.
