Zstd Extractor Step By Step
Zstd Extractor extracts a Zstandard (.zst) file in three steps: open the page, pick the file, download the result. Nothing is installed, and the file is decompressed on your device - it is never uploaded to a server.
Step 1 - open the tool
Go to Zstd Extractor. There is no install and no account. A small demo result appears as soon as the page loads, so you can see the extractor working before you pick a file.
Step 2 - pick your .zst file
Use the file selector at the top of the tool and choose a .zst or .zstd file. The page reads the file in your browser and shows status messages for the read and extract phases.
Step 3 - download the result
The extracted file appears with its size and a download button. The output keeps your file name minus the .zst ending - a .tar.zst gives you the inner .tar. A short text preview appears when the extracted content is readable text.
If something goes wrong
