How to View Deinocheirus in 3D
Deinocheirus 3D Viewer runs a giant ornithomimosaur from Mongolia Nemegt Formation in your browser. Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, toggle a 1.8 m person for scale, and click a body region for a fossil-sourced fact.
Open the Deinocheirus page and take the camera
Open the Deinocheirus 3D Viewer and wait for the facts panel to fill. Orbit with the pointer and zoom with the scroll wheel or a two-finger pinch. Fullscreen keeps the controls visible beside the scene. After first paint a license-clean glTF may swap in from the CDN; if that load fails the page stays on the procedural silhouette.
Use the four Deinocheirus controls under the canvas

The Deinocheirus facts panel lists about 11 m panel baseline (Lee et al. 2014; Paul 2016 about 11.5 m; Molina-Perez and Larramendi 2016 about 12 m), about 3.5 m hip (panel baseline), about 5-7 t (panel baseline 6.4 t / 6,358 kg; Paul 2016 about 5 t; Molina-Perez and Larramendi 2016 about 7 t; Campione and Evans 2020 about 6.5 t), about 72-66 Mya Late Cretaceous; Nemegt Formation, Mongolia, omnivore (fish and plants in gut contents), and naming (Osmolska and Roniewicz 1970; Lee et al. 2014 resolved body plan). Huge arms about 2.4 m; sail-backed torso; beaked omnivore. Do not conflate with smaller ornithomimids such as Gallimimus. A short click - not a drag - on a body region surfaces a short fossil fact. Soft-tissue color is an artistic reconstruction. When the sourced glTF loads, the status text notes a real model with credit - CC-BY-SA 4.0 glTF (seth the yutyrannus via Printables 774263) is stylized, not a laser scan. This model is not a fossil-accurate skeleton.
