GPA Calculator - Step By Step

The GPA Calculator runs in four steps: open the tool, add each course, pick a grade and credit hours, then read the weighted average. This page walks through what each step expects.


Step 1 - open the tool

Go to the GPA Calculator. Nothing needs to be installed or signed in - a few example courses are already filled in so you see a live result right away.


Step 2 - add or edit your courses

Click "+ Add course" for each class on your list, or edit the example rows in place. The course-name field is optional - it is only there to help you keep track of which row is which.


Step 3 - pick a grade and enter credit hours

For each row, choose the letter grade from the dropdown (the standard 4.0 scale, A through F with the usual +/- steps) and type the credit hours for that course.


Step 4 - read the weighted GPA

The weighted GPA, total credit hours, and total quality points update as soon as you change any field - there is no button to click. Remove a row with its × button if you need to.

The calculation runs locally in your browser - no upload and no account.
