Speaker & Audio Channel Test Step By Step
Follow these steps on the Speaker & Audio Channel Test page. The tone starts only after you click a Play button (browser autoplay rules).
Step 1 - open the tool
Go to Speaker & Audio Channel Test. Nothing needs to be installed or signed in before you start.
Step 2 - pick a frequency
Move the Hz slider if you want a different tone (default 440 Hz). The label next to the slider shows the current value.
Step 3 - play a channel
Click Play Left, Play Right, or Play Both. A short sine tone plays on that channel for about 2.5 seconds. The status line under Channel cue updates so you can see the test running even without headphones.
Step 4 - stop or repeat
Click Stop to end the tone early, or play another channel. Everything runs in the browser - no microphone, no upload, and no account.
