The browser route fits a one-off extraction of a .zst you already have. A desktop tool fits batch work and very large archives - in-browser decompression is limited by browser memory. An upload service moves your file to someone else's server, which the other two never do.
Zstd Extractor extracts only - it does not compress to .zst. For a .tar.zst it produces the inner .tar, and the source file is not retained beyond the page session.
