How to explore Phobos Stickney Crater 3D Explorer

Open the explorer and spin Phobos so Stickney faces you.

  1. Open https://freetoolonline.com/space-3d/phobos-stickney.html and wait for Phobos to appear near Mars.
  2. Press Play and watch the moon rotate; pause when Stickney faces the camera.
  3. Toggle Grooves off and on to isolate the crater bowl versus the streak network.
  4. Drag to orbit around the far side, then return to Stickney.
  5. Use the speed slider to slow or speed the rotation.
