How to Play Boing Cat Platformer - Step by Step

The Boing Cat Platformer page loads a ~130 KB auto-run platformer in an iframe. Your cat runs forward on its own across three tile-built levels; time Space presses to clear spikes and gaps.

Press Play, then press Space (or a gamepad button) to start and to jump.

Step 1 - press Play and Space to start

Press Play to inject the iframe (~130 KB). On the title screen press Space, or a gamepad bottom face button, to start.

Step 2 - time your jumps

The cat runs forward on its own. Press Space to jump over spikes and gaps; a well-timed jump clears longer gaps.

Step 3 - reach the flag

Each of the three levels ends at a flag held by a duck friend. Reaching it shows a win screen with that level's score.

Step 4 - clear all three levels

Press Space after a win screen to continue to the next level. After level three, a congratulations screen shows the total score.

Step 5 - restart after Game Over

Falling off a platform or hitting a spike ends the run. Press Space to try again from level one.

Why trust these tools

  • Ten-plus years of web tooling. The freetoolonline editorial team has shipped browser-based utilities since 2015. The goal has never changed: get you to a working output fast, without an install.
  • No install, no sign-up. Open a tool and get a working output in seconds - nothing to download and no account to create. Tools that need heavy processing run it on our service, so even a low-powered machine gets the job done.
  • Analytics stops at the page view. We measure which pages get visited, not what you type or upload inside a tool. There is nothing to sign in to and no profile is attached to your input.
  • Open-source core components. The processing engines underneath (libheif, libde265, pdf-lib, terser, clean-css, ffmpeg.wasm, and others) are public and audit-able. We link to each one in its tool page's footer.
  • Free, with or without ads. All tools are fully functional without sign-up. The Disable Ads button in the header is always available if you need a distraction-free run.
