When to Play Retro FPS Online
Retro FPS Online fits when you want a full Freedoom first-person campaign in the browser: one-time download, IndexedDB cache, in-game saves, and portable .ftolfps export - no install and no account.
When you have a keyboard (and ideally a mouse)
Arrows move, Ctrl fires, Space opens doors, Esc opens the menu. Mouse turn after you click the screen. Touch-only phones are not the target.
When you can wait for one download
Campaign cards state the size before anything is fetched. After that, later visits start from IndexedDB and work offline.
When you want real saves
In-game Save/Load like the desktop originals, plus Export/Import of .ftolfps across machines (engine-version checked).
When to pick something else
