How to Play Cube Smash 3D - Step by Step

The Cube Smash 3D page loads the game in an iframe (about 610 KB once, then cached). Move around the meadow, let the auto-swinging hammer smash the blobs, and pick upgrades as you level. Press Play to start.

Controls: WASD / arrows or drag to move; SHIFT sprint; SPACE or tap jump; hammer swings automatically; P pause, M mute, R restart. Best scores: ftol:cubesmash3d:best.

Step 1 - press Play

Press Play to inject the game iframe (about 610 KB once, mostly the shared 3D engine, then cached). Your character appears on a sunny meadow with the Smash Hammer equipped and three of its eight upgrade pips visible in the top-left weapon badge.

Step 2 - move, sprint, jump

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, hold SHIFT to sprint, and press SPACE to jump. On touch, drag to move and tap to jump. Drag the mouse to orbit the camera and scroll to zoom.

Step 3 - let the hammer work

The Smash Hammer swings automatically at the nearest blob in range - your job is positioning. Walk toward small groups, let the swing land, and back away before more blobs pile on.

Step 4 - gems, coins, and levels

Smashed blobs drop gems that fill the yellow level bar and occasional coins. Each level up pauses the run and offers three picks from a pool of eight: heavier hammer, quick swings, the Spin Blades weapon, the Boom Stones weapon, swift boots, hearty meal, gem magnet, or thick skin.

Step 5 - survive the escalation

Bigger dark-green blobs arrive after about the first minute, a crowned Boss Blob with its own health bar charges in every couple of minutes, and night (with 20% faster spawns) alternates with day on a two-and-a-half-minute cycle. When the health bar empties, the run ends; your best score stays on this device under ftol:cubesmash3d:best.

Why trust these tools

  • Ten-plus years of web tooling. The freetoolonline editorial team has shipped browser-based utilities since 2015. The goal has never changed: get you to a working output fast, without an install.
  • No install, no sign-up. Open a tool and get a working output in seconds - nothing to download and no account to create. Tools that need heavy processing run it on our service, so even a low-powered machine gets the job done.
  • Analytics stops at the page view. We measure which pages get visited, not what you type or upload inside a tool. There is nothing to sign in to and no profile is attached to your input.
  • Open-source core components. The processing engines underneath (libheif, libde265, pdf-lib, terser, clean-css, ffmpeg.wasm, and others) are public and audit-able. We link to each one in its tool page's footer.
  • Free, with or without ads. All tools are fully functional without sign-up. The Disable Ads button in the header is always available if you need a distraction-free run.
