How to Play Googol Stopping Game - Step by Step
The Googol Stopping Game page loads an ~8 KB optimal-stopping puzzle in an iframe.
Step 1 - press Play
Press Play to inject the iframe (~8 KB). The board boots with fifty numbered tiles, a Plays counter, a history log, Computer, and I'm done.
Step 2 - reveal tiles
Click or tap a number button. The hidden value appears in the history log (current pick highlighted). Each tile can be used once.
Step 3 - decide to stop
Your last revealed value is your choice. Press I'm done when you believe it is the biggest of all fifty. You cannot return to an earlier pick.
Step 4 - optional Computer demo
Press Computer to watch a reset round that samples about n/e tiles, then keeps picking until it beats that sample threshold.
