How to Play Sunset Soar - Step by Step
The Sunset Soar page loads the game in an iframe (about 16 KB, zero dependencies). Hold Space / click / touch to dive, release to soar. R restarts after a run ends. Press Play to start.
Step 1 - press Play
Press Play to inject the game iframe (about 16 KB - plain Canvas 2D, no engine download). The glider launches from the first hill automatically.
Step 2 - dive on the downslope
Hold Space, the mouse button, or a touch while the ground falls away in front of you. Diving down a descending slope is the only way to build real speed.
Step 3 - release at the crest
Release just as the slope turns upward. Your speed converts into a launch off the crest - a well-timed dive-then-release chains hill after hill.
Step 4 - read the stall warning
If your speed drops near zero while grounded, a stall warning appears. Dive down the next slope immediately; a stall that lasts about a second and a half ends the run.
Step 5 - distance and bests
The meter counter tracks distance and perfect launches. The sun sets as you fly farther, and your best distance stays on this device under ftol:sunsetsoar:best.
