The Planet Interior Cutaways 3D Explorer fits any lesson or curiosity break about what is actually inside a planet - crust, mantle, and core, with a MEASURED or MODELED ESTIMATE badge on every layer. It is an educational approximation - not a geophysics solver - so a few session types need another tool.


A five-minute "what's inside" demo

A five-minute demo is the ideal session: open the explorer, click Mercury to reveal its outsized core (about 83 percent of its radius), then switch to Jupiter to show a fuzzy, diffuse core with no sharp rocky ball at all. The contrast lands in under a minute.


Teaching evidence, not just facts

The explorer is built for teaching HOW scientists know what is inside a planet, not just reciting numbers.
